| | Holy shit I still have this page dont I? Been gone awhile, works crazy and the house is keeping me busy. I havent posted since I broke my leg, its all healed up and feeling better than I figured it ever would again. Im just glad I can walk, you really learn how great it is just to be able to walk, too bad it takes loosing something to realize what It ment to you. I knocked out a wall and put in the stair case in my kitchen that the house was designed with back in 1917. I like it a lot more.  The hole in the wall was just .25" sheetrock for the past 50 years. 
The stairs are oak that I stained Gunstock. 
Ok I had to put that in there. lol. I used a circ saw.......no really I did. 
I am working on a trim board for the wall then a railing to match the original woodwork on the other stair case. this goes to the landing in the foyer. I have since put in a kicker board above the top step. Almost done with this. |
